My name is Coach Mark Anthony Walker and my involvement in basketball now has spanned over 45 years. In that time, I have experienced so much as a player, administrator, spectator, parent, coaching director and finally my greatest passion which is coaching the game itself. My coaching career has followed so many paths over the last 28 years as a professional coach. I have built many basketball programs including a thirty, forty and ninety plus junior team clubs. This includes my own club Central City Breakers, working with thousands of young athletes over this time.

One of my greatest moment in coaching came with the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team. This special team won the Gold Medal at the Paralympic Games in Atlanta Georgia beating the USA on its home soil in the semi-finals, on the way to the title. It is truly an inspiring experience watch your countries flag raised above all others and the National Anthem blaring out around the stadium and the deep sense of pride for country and the team.

I am now turning my skills to becoming an author, writing and producing resources that will serve the many generations that a both starting out or experienced in the great game of basketball. The sport has been my passion for so many years and I am still a great many things everyday that I want to share with the world.
